Watching And Discovery
A useful video often leads to something else: a creator's other work, a related demonstration, or a question in the discussion. Vids keeps those routes close to the player while giving the video itself room to play.
Viewing Analytics
Studio's Analytics tab shows how people watch your videos. It helps you distinguish a video that attracted playback starts from one that held attention, and compare those patterns across your own uploads.
Videos
Vids is the place to watch community videos, browse Shorts, and follow live streams in Visual Space. A video keeps its creator's name while belonging to the public space where it was published. You can move from watching a demonstration to discussing it with the people who made it, without starting a separate conversation elsewhere.
Shorts And Postcards
Shorts is a quick way to explore community work one item at a time. Alongside short videos, it can show article postcards with pictures, playable media, or a text excerpt. A postcard is a window into the original contribution: its author, article, and discussion remain connected.
Managing Space Videos
A space's video managers can remove public videos and streams that do not belong in their community. These controls appear in Studio under **Manage Space videos** for spaces where your role permits video management.
Live Streams
A live stream lets a community watch a broadcast and take part in its live conversation. Creators can send a prepared broadcast from OBS or another external encoder, or use the device camera and microphone where supported.
Videos Guide
Watch a community video, collect useful clips, or prepare your own publication in Vids. Start with viewing, then move into Studio when you are ready to create.
History And Playlists
Vids gives you several ways to return to content. Choose the one that matches your intention: retrace something you watched, keep a reminder, or build an ordered collection for yourself or other viewers.
Creator Studio
Studio takes a finished video from a private draft to a public contribution in a community space. It brings your uploads and viewing analytics together, while keeping publication an explicit decision.
Upload And Publish A Video
Publish a finished video or Short in a community space, with a clear title and a discussion viewers can return to. You need a signed-in account and permission to publish videos in a published public space.
Take Down A Space Video
Use this workflow when a public video or stream needs to be removed from a space you manage. You need that space's video-management permission; ordinary viewing or publishing permission is not enough. **Take down prevents the creator from editing or republishing the entry through Studio.** It also hides the attached article, and stops an active broadcast if the entry is live. This surface has no routine restore control. For a temporary revision of your own work, use Unpublish instead.
Revise A Published Video
Choose the right editing path before changing an existing video. A watch-page description comes from the attached article, while the video's title, thumbnail, and file are managed in Studio.
Review Your Viewing Analytics
Use Studio analytics to understand which of your videos people start, spend time with, and finish. The aim is a useful comparison across your own work, with the date range and each video's length kept in view.
Find Watch And Discuss A Video
Find a video, watch the part you need, and join its existing discussion. This is useful when a demonstration or community update leaves you with a question you want the creator and other viewers to see.
Build And Share A Playlist
Create an ordered collection of public videos, then decide whether to keep it to yourself or share it. Sign in before starting: the playlist belongs to your account, even when it is public.
Broadcast And Manage A Replay
Prepare a live broadcast, make it public only after the source is ready, and finish with a deliberate replay decision. Sign in with video publishing permission in a published public space. Have either an external encoder such as OBS or a supported device camera and microphone ready.
Personal Space
Your personal space is a private home for your own work in Visual Space. It is ready when you register, so you can collect references, make documents, plan goals and events, or use a work app before joining a community.
Organize Joined Spaces
Keep the communities you return to easy to reach by reordering their avatars and grouping them into folders. This changes your own left rail; other members keep their own arrangements.
Removed Posts
Removed posts is the space's list of explicit moderation removals. It lets authorized reviewers return eligible content without confusing a restoration with the decision saved on a report.
Restore A Removed Post
Return an eligible post after reviewing why it was removed. This workflow clears a moderation removal; it cannot undo an author's deletion and does not rewrite a report decision.
Community Bans
A community ban lets a space owner restrict one member's participation in that community. It applies to that account in that community; it does not delete the account or automatically restrict its use of other spaces.
Manage Community Bans
Use this guide as a space owner to record a community restriction, check its effect and duration, and end it early when appropriate. You will work from the space's Members settings.
Signing In And Out
You can explore public parts of Visual Space before creating an account. Sign in when you want to participate, return to your personal work, or use account features such as saved content and preferences.
Preferences
Preferences lets you make Visual Space comfortable for everyday use. Open your account panel, choose **Preferences**, and use the **User preferences** page.
Personalize Your Preferences
Set your preferred theme, choose whether to receive promotional email, and decide whether Lexi belongs beside your everyday work.
Organize Your Apps
Put your everyday tools within easy reach, then confirm that they open in the workspace you intended. Sign in before you begin so the arrangement can be saved to your account.
Stories And Characters
A title page is a starting point for exploring an Original's world. It connects the work to its longer article, characters, creator, publishing space, and conversations, so the context stays close to the film or show.
Originals Studio
Originals Studio helps creators prepare existing titles for review and manage approved releases. Open **Originals Studio** from its creator entry or account tools to see your library; the normal Originals entry opens the viewing catalog.
My List And Proposals
My List keeps the Originals you want to return to in one place. It saves films and whole shows with your account, so you can browse now and decide what to watch later.
Originals Guide
Originals brings films, shows, stories, and their characters into one place. Choose something to watch, explore its wider story, or manage a title you already own.
Discovery And Playback
Choosing an Original starts with the kind of story you want to watch. The catalog gives you broad discovery, focused film and show browsing, and search when you already have a title, creator, or character in mind.
Publish And Withdraw A Title
Make an approved Original available to viewers, then understand how to withdraw it if it should no longer be watchable. Publishing changes the release's public availability and the visibility of its linked story articles.
Prepare A Draft For Review
Prepare an existing Original for review by checking its presentation, saving your changes, and submitting the release you intend viewers to watch. You need to be the draft's author with permission to publish Originals in its eligible public publishing space. The title must be unpublished and outside an active review. **This guide begins with an existing draft**; the current Studio does not offer a working new-title upload wizard.
Find And Watch A Title
Find a film or episode, check its details, and open the right release. You can use the same journey on a computer or a smaller touch screen; previews and navigation adapt to the available space.
Explore A Story
Follow an Original from its title page into a character's appearances and the related articles. This is useful when a film leaves you curious about the world, creator, or community behind it.
Saving And Recovery
Whiteboard saves the shared canvas as you work, but a visible edit is not always a confirmed save. The header tells you whether work is saved, still pending, or needs your attention. Use it as the final checkpoint before leaving an important session.
Save And Resume A Board
Finish a Whiteboard session with a confirmed save, then return to the same editable work. If a connection or draft interrupts that sequence, this guide helps you choose the relevant recovery action without discarding unfinished work by accident.
Manual Guide
Welcome to the Visual Space manual. Start with what you want to do, then open a guide for the workspace or tool involved. Each section leads to feature explanations and practical walkthroughs.
Discovering Events
Use a community's Events page when you already know whose schedule you need. Use public Events when you want to discover occasions across communities. Both lead to the event article, where you can read the details and decide whether to join.
Calendar And Recurring Events
The Events calendar helps you plan a shared schedule without losing the article that explains each occasion. It combines Month and Week views, direct scheduling gestures, and repeating events in the community area where the work happens.
Plan And Reschedule In The Calendar
Plan an event against the surrounding schedule, then move or resize it without leaving the community calendar. This guide covers both creating an interval and adjusting a published non-recurring event. Use the event's own space, subspace, or activity Events page. Public discovery calendars are read-only. Creating requires Coordinator access and event-management permission in an active destination; moving an existing event requires authorship or event-management permission.
My Docs
My Docs is your private file library. Keep notes, uploaded references, folders, and supported app projects there when they belong to you rather than a community. Your personal workspace is **only for you**. It cannot be joined, shared, made public, or transferred to someone else. Its folders inherit that privacy.
Keep A Personal Copy
Keep a separate version of a useful file, folder, article, or supported app project in My Docs. The original stays where it is, and your personal copy can develop independently.
Browse And Sort A Feed
Choose a feed and sort that match what you want to find: recent updates, active discussion, established favorites, or something outside your usual communities.
Drafts And Saving
A draft lets you develop an article over time without putting unfinished work into the published feed. Saving keeps your progress; **Publish changes who can discover it**. Those are separate actions.
Resume And Publish A Draft
Use this guide when you have started an article, left it unfinished, and want to return without creating a duplicate. Sign in with the account that created the draft.
Organize Polls
Use the Polls library to find a poll in its area and organize documents when your role allows it. Moving or deleting a card changes shared content, so first confirm that you are working in the intended space.
Start And Manage A Group Conversation
Use this walkthrough to start a one-to-one conversation, expand it into a group when appropriate, and manage the group without losing sight of who can read its history. The most important decision comes before you add anyone: confirm that every new participant should be able to see the conversation's retained messages and attachments.
