Find And Follow Events

Events by area - Members can browse events for the current space, subspace, or activity.

Upcoming and completed - Full cards highlight active events, while compact completed cards keep past details and discussions easy to revisit.

About page previews - About pages can highlight up to three events with the strongest confirmed and tentative interest.

Event search - Published events can appear in Search with their schedule, status, author, attendance, description, and image when available.

Private event drafts - Coordinators with permission to manage events can prepare an event before anyone else sees it.

Rich event editor - Drafts include a title, keywords, schedule, and a full article. Authors can add agendas, links, notes, and other details.

Separate draft list - Authors can switch to their draft list, reopen unfinished events, and continue without losing saved changes.

Publish when ready - Publishing moves an event into the main Events list for members who can access that area. The event publishing guide follows this private-draft lifecycle.

Safe scheduling - Future events allow start and end changes. Ongoing events keep their start fixed, and completed events lock the full schedule.

Archived activities - New events cannot be created inside an archived activity.

Simple responses - Members can answer confirmed, tentative, or declined from an active event card.

Easy changes - Choosing another response updates the totals, while choosing the same response again clears it.

Remembered choice - A member's response stays selected when they return, helping everyone understand the latest attendance picture.

Save for later - Signed-in users can add events to View Later and remove them again.

Reactions and awards - Space owners and members with the matching permissions can react to events or give awards.

Access And Availability

Event management - Event authors and people with permission to manage events can edit, publish, and delete eligible events.

Member attendance - Members only need access to the event's space area to respond. They do not need event-management permission.
