Visual Space manual, Rankings, Find And Explore Contributors
Use this guide to open the full contributor ranking for the community you mean to explore, understand the two levels of results, and continue to a person or highlighted goal. For background on what the list represents, see [Rankings](../rankings.md) and [Top Contributors](../top-contributors.md).
Find contributors in a community, read their profile context, and continue to work you want to explore. This guide uses the public Members app; it does not require a community management role.
Choose The Right Community

Open a space - Select the community you want to explore. The Members app is hidden in personal spaces.
•
Check your access - A public space can expose its ranking to visitors. For a private space, use an account with membership or ownership.
•
Choose an area if needed - Enter the supported subspace or activity before opening Members when you want a narrower ranking. A whole-space list and an area list can contain different people in different positions.
Open Top Contributors
•
Use Apps - Open the Apps menu and choose Members. Wait for the Top Contributors heading and the results.
•
Or use a contributor preview - On Expo, choose View All beside Top Contributors. About may also show a Contributors section with View All.
View All opens the whole-space ranking. If you need an area-specific result, return to that area and open Members there. Do not assume a preview carries your previous area selection into the full page.
Use View All to open the contributors list for the whole space.
Find Someone To Explore

Read the featured cards - The first three contributors have larger cards. Look at the name, biography, and job title or contribution reason to decide whose profile interests you.

Scroll through Introductions - When more than three people are listed, the remaining contributors appear in compact rows. They are part of the same ranking, not a separate membership list.

Open a profile - Select a featured card or a contributor's avatar. For a compact row, select the avatar rather than the surrounding text. Confirm that the profile belongs to the person you chose, then explore their available work.
A diploma or highlighted goal may appear with a featured contributor. Select an available goal to read its article; the destination's own access rules still apply. Achievement details are optional, so you can complete this journey without finding one.
On mobile, the featured cards stack vertically. Keep scrolling to reach further contributors. On desktop, empty spaces beside one or two featured cards do not mean more profiles are still loading.
If You Cannot Continue

Wait for loading to finish - Placeholder cards are a pending state, not unnamed contributors.
•
Recognize an empty list - No contributors yet means no results are available for this scope. Check that you selected the intended community or area, then return later if needed.
•
Retry a failed request - For Could not load top contributors., choose Try again. If the problem concerns access, check your signed-in account and private-space membership.
You have reached the goal when you can open a contributor's profile from the intended community and explore the work available to you. A position helps you find people; their work provides the context for deciding what to follow next.
