Top Contributors expands a scoped ranking into a place to discover the people behind a space. It highlights leading contributors, introduces more members beyond the first three, and gives you profile context for deciding whose work you want to explore next. The ranking belongs to the space, subspace, or activity you are viewing; it is not a platform-wide reputation score. For the broader purpose and boundaries of contributor ranking, see Rankings.
From Ranking To Contributor Discovery
The first three people receive featured contributor cards. These larger cards make the leading contributors easier to recognize and give their profile information more room. When a ranking contains fewer than three people, the page keeps the remaining featured positions open rather than promoting nonexistent results.
Contributors after the first three appear under Introductions as compact summaries. This change in presentation keeps a longer ranking easy to scan while still showing enough about each person to make the list useful for discovery.

The ranking order and profile context work together. Position shows how a contributor stands within the current scope, while the supporting details help you understand who the person is and what may have contributed to that position.
Recognition When It Is Available
A featured contributor may have a diploma or a highlighted top goal shown with their card. These details add context to the person's contribution story, but they are not guaranteed for every leading contributor. Their absence does not mean the card is incomplete or the contributor has lost recognition.
When a top goal appears, you can open it to learn more, subject to the goal's visibility and your access. A card shows the recognition context supplied for that ranking; it does not provide a complete record of the person's achievements.
Open A Contributor Profile
Select any featured card or contributor avatar to open that person's profile. This applies to avatars in both the featured area and the compact introductions. The public profiles guide explains what visitors can see after opening one.
The rest of a compact introduction row is a summary, not a profile button. Use its avatar when you want to continue to the contributor's profile. This distinction lets you scan names, biographies, ranking reasons, and statistics without every part of the row acting as a link.

Public And Private Rankings
Public spaces can make their contributor rankings available to visitors. Those public pages lead only to profiles and highlighted goals that are publicly available.
Private-space rankings remain limited to accepted members. Being able to open a public contributor page elsewhere does not grant access to a private community's ranking or private content.
Loading, Empty Results, And Screen Size
While the ranking loads, placeholders preserve the shape of the page. If the current scope has no ranking data, the page shows No contributors yet and explains that contributors will appear after activity data becomes available. This is a valid empty result, not an indication that you should refresh repeatedly.
On wider screens, featured cards appear alongside one another, with available achievement details aligned below them. On mobile, the cards stack and each available achievement stays with its contributor. The information and ranking order remain the same; only the arrangement changes.
Common Questions
Does Top Contributors compare everyone in Visual Space?
No. It ranks contributors only within the space or supported space area you are viewing.
Why do some cards show a ranking reason instead of a role?
When a contributor has no job title to display, the card can use a short reason that summarizes the strongest available contribution context.
Can I open a profile by selecting any compact row?
No. Select the contributor's avatar. The surrounding compact row is a read-only introduction.
Why does a featured contributor have no diploma or top goal?
Achievement context appears only when it is available for that contributor and ranking. It is supporting information, not a requirement for appearing in the top three.
Can visitors see rankings for private spaces?
No. Private-space and private-area rankings are restricted to accepted members with access.
