Account Settings brings your personal preferences, safety controls, recognition history, security, and paid access together. Open your account panel and choose Preferences to begin at User preferences.
To change your public name, biography, pictures, or skills, open your own profile.
Find The Right Page
Preferences changes personal options; the neighboring pages handle notifications, security and subscriptions.
Choosing a page updates the selected destination. On smaller screens, the navigation closes after selection to give the page more room.
Make Visual Space Comfortable
Preferences explains the everyday settings in detail. Dark Mode changes the theme immediately. Promotional email controls optional product updates and promotions. Enable Lexi adds the language-learning tool to the tools slimbar; turning it off hides the tool and closes its open panel.
The Promotional email and Lexi rows show Saving…, then Saved, or Not saved. Try again. after a failure. Check the saved result before leaving a change you depend on.
Attention And Direct-Message Safety
Notifications lets you start with personal defaults, then make exceptions where a space or activity needs different treatment. Those choices affect your own notification experience, not everyone in the community.
Blocked users has a narrower purpose: it governs direct-message exchange with a particular person. Open the list, identify the person, and use Unblock when you want to resume that exchange. If the save fails, the previous list returns and an error appears. Follow Review and unblock people for the complete task.
A personal block is separate from a community ban, which a space owner manages for that community.
Password Changes Begin With Email
Password and security shows your signed-in account email and requests a secure reset link there. You choose the new password after opening that link; Account Settings does not ask for the current or new password.
Check your inbox confirms the email request, not a completed password change. Follow Request a password change through to the password form and its confirmation.
Recognition, Subscriptions, And Publishing
My awards separates received and gifted Awards and shows the available spendable balance. Awards are quick item-level appreciation. My medals shows lasting recognition across spaces; its available total combines the shared allowances of eligible spaces, rather than a personal stockpile of Medals. See Profile Recognition.
Manage Subscription shows your current Abo and the other paid access or Boosts connected to your account. Cancellation continues with the platform that owns the purchase. The creator studio entries provide a direct route back to managing video or Originals work.
Account Deletion Is Not Available Here Yet
The Delete account screen and nickname dialog are incomplete. Confirming that dialog does not erase your account, remove profile data, close sessions, or remove sign-in access. Do not treat it as a submitted or completed erasure request.
Use the dialog's close control to leave it.
Common Questions
Are these settings public?
Account Settings is personal to the signed-in user. Your public introduction belongs on your profile.
Does a theme change apply immediately?
Yes. The device remembers it, and signed-in changes also save to your account.
Can I buy Medals from My medals?
No. Medals use a space's shared allowance. Purchasable Award top-ups serve a different kind of recognition.
Where do I manage settings for a whole space?
Open that space's administration area with the required access. Account Settings changes your personal experience.
