Space Boosts let you contribute extra storage, upload headroom, or AI credits to a space you have joined. You own the Boost; the assigned space receives its benefit. Buying one does not automatically apply it to your current space.
This makes Boosts useful across projects: keep one available, assign it where it is needed, or move it later. A Free account can own and assign separate Boosts without buying an Abo.
Choose the Resource You Need
The Boosts tab in Premium uses one Light, Pro, and Ultra selector. Changing it updates the three cards, but each card remains a separate subscription.
Storage Pro/Ultra display 125/750 GB, and File Size Pro/Ultra display +25/+150 MB at €20/€100 per month. Those larger storage and file-size offers are previews, so their actions show an unavailable notice rather than granting the displayed capacity.
The distinction matters when an upload fails. Storage provides room for files; upload headroom raises the limit for one file. Increasing one does not solve a shortage of the other.
Put Included Storage to Work
Some active subscriptions already supply storage:
Designer Pack is currently unavailable for new purchases. If you already hold it, you can place all four Boosts in one joined space or distribute them across several.
Included storage is part of its source subscription, rather than a new purchase for each assignment. Review the purchase platform for actual charges; the account's monthly estimate is only a guide.
Manage Subscription separates account access from Boosts assigned to spaces or available to assign.
Understand Storage and Monthly Transfer
Storage is capacity for retained content. Outbound transfer is the amount delivered from the space to people viewing or downloading its files and media. A storage grant contributes five times its capacity as monthly transfer: 10 GB adds 50 GB, and 25 GB adds 125 GB.
Transfer follows the UTC calendar month. Adding storage can raise the current month's allowance immediately. Moving, unassigning, or losing a storage Boost does not reduce an allowance already granted for that month; the lower storage-based allowance takes effect in the following month.
File Size Boosts and AI Credit Boosts do not increase that transfer allowance. Ask a space owner or manager to review the space's storage and transfer information when deciding which resource needs attention.
Understand an AI Credit Period
AI credits belong to a finite paid period. Unused credits do not roll over. A renewal supplies a new allowance while retaining the Boost's space assignment.
Moving an AI Boost carries its remaining usable balance to the new space. It does not refill spent credits, extend the period, or leave a second copy behind. Unassigning it keeps the Boost in your inventory but makes its credits unavailable to a space until reassigned.
Turning off AI auto-renewal leaves the current paid allowance usable until its end. Expired or refunded periods cannot fund new work, even if their Boost row remains visible. An expired row can therefore be useful account history without representing spendable credits.
Credits fund supported AI operations; they do not grant permission to run those operations. The space's access rules and the tool's requirements still apply.
Assign, Move, or Unassign
Open Manage Subscription and find Space boosts. Assigned to spaces names each current destination; Available to assign contains unassigned inventory. Use Assign, Move, or Unassign on the relevant row.
You can select a joined space. When moving storage or upload headroom, the old space loses that capacity and the new one gains it. Consider both spaces before moving a Boost that supports ongoing work.
Unassigning is different from cancelling: it changes the destination, not the recurring purchase. Ending a subscription can remove its supplied storage or file-size Boost and the corresponding space benefit. Follow Assign or Move a Space Boost for the full workflow.
Common Questions
Does Light buy storage, file size, and AI credits together?
No. The selector chooses a tier, and each card represents its own purchase.
Can I assign a Boost to a space I do not own?
Yes, if you have joined it and the Boost belongs to you. Assignment does not give you ownership or administration rights.
Does moving AI credits restart the month?
No. The original period and remaining balance stay with the Boost.
Why does an expired AI Boost remain listed?
Its assignment can remain for renewal continuity. A label such as Paid period ended means the old allowance cannot fund new work.
Can I undo a mistaken assignment?
Move the Boost to the intended space or unassign it. Reopen the account view to confirm the saved destination, especially if an error was shown.
