Reporting gives members a simple way to flag concerns and helps each space handle them with the right context.
Report Content
•
Posts and articles - Members can open the report form from a post or a loaded article menu.
•
Choose a rule - Members select a Visual Space rule or the current space's rules to explain what is wrong.
•
Add context - An optional note lets members share details that may help reviewers understand the concern.
•
Quiet confirmation - Members receive confirmation after submitting, while regular users do not see report markers in the feed.
See Reports In A Space
•
Space report view - Space owners can track new and resolved reports for the space they manage.
•
Reports in context - Pending post reports appear beside the post so reviewers can understand the surrounding conversation.
•
Grouped concerns - Posts with several pending reports show a count that opens every report for that post.
Review And Resolve
•
Clear case details - Each post report includes the selected rule, its description, the member's note, and the reported post.
•
Review outcomes - Authorized moderators can approve a report without removing the post, remove the post, or mark it as spam.
•
Moderator notes - Reviewers can add a note so later reviewers understand why a decision was made.
•
Decision history - Resolved reports remain available for later review, and reviewers can change a previous decision.
