Feeds help you discover work without opening every article. Each post gives you a title, author, space, and a deliberate summary, with a route into the full article when you want more context.
Choose Where to Browse
Home discovers public posts across communities. The spaces you join help shape its Best recommendations, alongside engagement and freshness. Home is therefore useful for discovering relevant work beyond a single space.
All is the broader public-community feed. A space or activity feed narrows your attention to that community or area, including eligible content beneath it. A person's profile feed collects their published posts.
These views do not change the source article. Its title, author, destination, and access rules still belong to the original work.
Set the Pace of Your Feed
Open the three-dot control at the right of the create-post bar to choose the feed order:
Top's period refers to when the posts were published, not when their reactions arrived. An older article receiving new reactions may therefore remain outside Today. All time is the initial Top period.
Changing the sort starts the feed again from the beginning. On desktop, the control's tooltip identifies the active choice, including the Top period. Browse and Sort a Feed helps you use the choices for catching up or discovering useful work.
Read a Card, Then Decide
A post summary is written for the feed. It may be a short text introduction, image or album, link preview, or poll. It is not automatically clipped from the article's first paragraph.
The card keeps the focused summary prominent while article-level responses remain compact.
Use the title and summary together to decide whether to continue. Open the article for its complete body; use the space link to visit the community instead. Media opens in its viewer, and a poll can accept a vote directly on its card when your account has permission.
The response controls remain attached to the same article:
On desktop, right-click a post to open its menu. On a touch screen, press and hold. Available actions depend on your account, the space, and whether the item is still a draft.
The saved state belongs to the article itself, so the feed menu can manage the same View Later item.
Explore the Showcase
A feed can also show a compact strip of Shorts and article previews. Opening one enters the Shorts viewer, where you can move vertically through the selected work. An article preview can contain pictures, video, and an excerpt; Open article takes you to the full reading page.
The showcase has its own selection. Changing the post-feed sort does not reorder that strip. Live Apps creation cards can also lead into published work made with an app; opening one follows its ordinary article route.
Return to Unfinished Work
Your draft posts stay separate from published browsing. When drafts exist, the create-post bar shows a draft counter. Select it to open your draft feed, then select it again to return to published posts.
Open a draft to resume its article. A draft is not a second public copy, and it does not enter normal feeds until you publish. See Resume and Publish a Draft.
To create from the main feed, choose a joined space and an activity. Starting inside a space or activity uses that context. You must have permission to create posts there, and an archived activity cannot accept new publication.
Access Still Belongs to the Source
Public reading and participation are different. A public post may be readable by a guest while commenting, voting, reacting, or awarding requires sign-in and the appropriate membership or permission.
Protected content remains subject to the access rules of its owning area. Saving a post, opening it from another feed, or adding a Space Pin does not widen that access.
Space owners and eligible maintainers also have curation and report-review controls. Curation and Moderation explains these separately from ordinary reading.

Why is Home showing a space I have not joined?
Home discovers public work beyond your memberships. Joined communities influence Best recommendations without becoming its entire scope.
How can I catch up in publication order?
Choose New in the sort menu. It orders the selected feed by publication time.
Why is an old popular article missing from Top Today?
Today limits the age of the post. Choose a wider period or All time to include older articles.
Why did my scroll position change after choosing a sort?
The new order loads from its beginning so cards belong to one consistent selection.
Is saving a post a copy of the article?
No. View Later keeps a personal link back to the source. The article can still change, be removed, or become inaccessible to your account.
