Spaces give communities and teams a shared home, while personal spaces keep individual work private. Members can find shared priorities and move between focused activities without losing context.

Find And Join Spaces

•
Public space discovery - Users can find published public spaces in Search, review useful summary details, and open the community that interests them.
•
Choose communities together - Find your spaces lets users filter suggested communities, select several, and join them together.
•
Simple membership - The Spaces guide explains how users join public spaces directly or accept private-space invitations. Non-owners can leave spaces they no longer follow.
•
Joined spaces rail - Joined spaces stay close at hand, can be reordered, and reopen at each member's last available location.
•
Joined community folders - Users can group joined communities into collapsible folders and rearrange them without changing other members' navigation.
•
Live space cues - Space avatars can show unread activity updates and ongoing meetings before members open the space.

Your Personal Workspace

•
Private from signup - New accounts receive a personal space for documents, goals, events, and creative work without creating or joining a community.
•
Direct personal shortcuts - The apps menu opens personal Documents, Events, and Goals directly and shows used storage beside these shortcuts.
•
My Docs panel - Users can browse personal files and folders beside their current workspace, open documents, rename eligible files, and save items for later.
•
Collect useful material - Users can drag eligible documents into My Docs to copy them into personal folders or project areas.
•
Room to organize - Personal work can start at the root and grow into folders, subspaces, and activities as projects develop.
•
Always yours - Personal spaces remain private to their owner and cannot accept members or transfer ownership. Normal storage limits and app access requirements still apply.

Create A Community

•
Draft-first setup - Creators can prepare a name, handle, description, images, privacy, and onboarding content before publishing.
•
Helpful draft recovery - Meaningful drafts save as users work and reopen from the joined spaces rail. Untouched drafts disappear when closed.
•
Private from the start - Creators can choose a private space and invite its first members before or after publishing.
•
Owner stays joined - Publishing keeps the creator joined as owner. New spaces start empty so owners can shape their own subspaces and activities.

Organize Work

•
Clear area structure - Spaces contain subspaces for related work, while activities give each project, topic, or team a focused place to collaborate.
•
Connected activities - Chat, posts, documents, meetings, goals, and events can follow the same activity context. This makes work easier to locate later.
•
Flexible organization - Space owners can reorder subspaces, move activities between them, and keep completed activities available in an archive.
•
Safe area drafts - Subspace and activity drafts stay with their creator until publication, so unfinished setup does not clutter member navigation.

Help Members Find Their Way

•
Useful About pages - About pages explain each space area and can surface its activities, upcoming events, goals, updates, contributors, and onboarding article.
•
Community guidance - Space panels bring together local rules, useful links, listed team members, and platform guidelines in one easy reference.
•
Contribution pins - Owners and permitted maintainers can pin up to ten published posts and articles, reorder them, and guide members toward work needing attention.
•
Curated Expo - Expo highlights selected work across a space and its areas, alongside top contributors who helped create it.
•
Community Wiki - Maintainers can curate published articles into a space Wiki, where members browse readable pages in their existing document hierarchy.

Privacy And Membership

•
Private area access - Spaces, subspaces, and activities can be private. People without access cannot browse their navigation or open their protected content.
•
Privacy stays predictable - Privacy is chosen before publication and cannot be switched afterward. A private parent also protects the areas below it.
•
Separate access and authority - Private membership grants entry only. Roles and permissions separately decide who can publish, organize, moderate, or manage.
•
Member controls - Owners can invite people, review members, manage private-area access, and transfer ownership to another joined member with confirmation.

Roles And Space Management

•
Custom space roles - Owners can create, rename, assign, and remove roles that match how their community actually works.
•
Scoped permissions - Owners can set default member permissions and give roles different responsibilities across the space, a subspace, or one activity.
•
Space identity - Owners can update the title, description, avatar, banner, goal reference key, and content license from space management.
•
Community rules - Authorized space managers can maintain community rules, while members can expand their details and read platform guidelines alongside them.
•
Rule editing feedback - Rule edits save automatically and show whether changes are pending, saved, or need a retry.
•
Useful links - Owners can maintain named links and descriptions so members can reach community resources.

Understand Content Reuse

•
Clear license choices - Owners can compare eight content licenses, inspect the conditions, and confirm the terms that fit their community.
•
Readable reuse rules - Everyone can expand the selected license's explanations and open its full license article from About.
•
Separate privacy decisions - Content licenses describe reuse conditions. They do not change who can enter a private space or what their roles permit.

Contact Community Staff

•
Private staff messages - Signed-in users can contact a community's staff with formatted text and images. Private communities require access before sending.
•
Organized staff inbox - Space owners and listed moderators can review messages across their communities, starting with unread conversations.
•
Private reply threads - Staff can answer a message, and its sender can respond beneath a staff reply without opening the discussion to other members.
•
Reply notifications - Senders can open staff replies from notifications. Conversation refresh controls load newer replies while a thread stays open.

Storage And Personal Touches

•
Visible capacity - Space management shows used and available storage, upload limits, and the boosts currently increasing capacity or file sizes.
•
Monthly transfer visibility - Space managers can inspect monthly file-delivery usage, its reset date, and the files accounting for the most transfer.
•
Delivery status - When a space's media delivery is paused near its monthly allowance, the displayed notice explains the restriction while space management remains available.
•
AI credit balance - Space management shows available AI credits and their next quota restart, with refresh controls and clear unavailable or failed-refresh states.
•
Assignable boosts - Users can apply eligible boosts to joined spaces and return them to their inventory later.
•
Custom emoji - Owners and permitted chat managers can add up to 50 custom emoji for chat in their space.
