Create a simple room outline, add a door and window, and inspect the resulting space. This guide uses one editable wall run so that corners, openings, floor and roof remain connected.
Open a scene you authored. Use a clear view of the ground or supporting surface before drawing.
Draw The Outline
If Stage refuses a corner, the wall path or its thickness may intersect itself. Move the proposed point rather than adding another overlapping wall to conceal the problem.
Place Openings
The opening is a hole through the wall, not a picture placed on its surface. Orbit to the other side to check that it reads as intended.
Finish The Enclosure
A valid Closed room outline enables Floor slab and a flat roof. Set the floor level and thickness, then add the roof only if it helps the review. Shed and gable roofs are unavailable.
Reopening the wall outline removes its floor and roof, so keep the outline closed when you need those parts. Use Undo if you change that state unintentionally.
Save the scene and inspect the room from above and from an oblique angle. Add furniture or a character next to check scale, then save a camera that shows the entrance clearly.
