Whiteboards turn ideas into shared visual plans without disconnecting them from the rest of a space. Each board stays available through Docs, meetings, comments, and its home area.

Create And Continue

Open from your work - Users can create or open boards from Docs, a space area, or a meeting, then return to the same area when finished.

Draft by default - Each board starts with a paired draft article for its title, context, and comments. Nothing is published until a user chooses to publish it.
Saved sessions - Elements, styles, checklist progress, connectors, and drawings remain ready when users reopen a board.
Focused workspace - Opening a board provides a fullscreen canvas, while the area explorer stays focused on browsing files.

Work Together Live

Shared editing - Multiple users can add, move, restyle, arrange, or remove board elements together. Everyone sees changes live.
Visible collaborators - Cursors, selections, active tools, pointer effects, and participant presence help everyone follow the work as it happens.
Personal history - Undo and redo focus on each user's own recent work without reversing edits made by collaborators.
Meeting whiteboards - Teams can open or create a board on the meeting stage, switch boards during the session, and continue the same work later.

Plan And Diagram

Notes and tasks - Users can add editable text, post-it notes, and interactive todo lists for brainstorming and planning.
Shapes and connections - Rectangles, ellipses, diamonds, lines, arrows, and flexible connectors support diagrams that stay connected as objects move.
Freehand drawing - Pen, highlighter, and eraser tools make it easy to sketch ideas or mark up structured content.
Flexible arrangement - Users can select one or many objects and then move, resize, duplicate, or reorder them. Clipboard actions and delete are also available.
Easy navigation - Panning, zooming, viewport reset, and keyboard shortcuts help users move quickly across larger boards.

Bring Work Together

Connected work cards - Users can pin documents, goals, events, profiles, and space areas as cards that still open their original source.
Images and markers - Space images, emoji, icons, and award cards add useful context and visual signals to workshops and reviews.
Tables and charts - Editable tables and CSV-based pie, bar, and line charts bring structured information onto the same canvas.

Discuss And Share

Context beside the board - Article and Comments panels open alongside the canvas, so users can review details or continue a discussion without leaving.
Focused feedback - Comments can be linked to supported objects, while lightweight annotations keep quick notes attached to the board itself.
PNG snapshots - Users can save the currently visible part of a board as a PNG for a review or quick update.

Access And Current Limits

Creation access - Board creation is available to coordinators and members with Designer Pack or standalone Whiteboard access.
Space permissions - Users must be signed in and allowed into the board's space and private area before they can open it.
Area-based library - Boards stay organized within their space area and meetings rather than appearing in a separate global library.
Layer ordering - Users can move objects forward or backward, but searchable, named, and grouped layers are not available yet.
Viewport export - PNG export captures the visible view only. Whole-board and vector exports are not available yet, and mobile saving depends on the device's file dialog.
