One search home - Users can find spaces, posts, goals, events, and documents from one place. Shared messages, direct messages, and people are searchable too.

Space discovery - Users can discover communities through Search, which now replaces the separate Spaces Explorer experience.

Global or local - Users can search across Visual Space or stay within the current space. A visible scope control makes the active range clear.
•
Flexible filters - Users can combine content filters, then sort results by best match, newest, or popular.
•
Useful time ranges - Results can cover all time, the past year, month, week, or today.
•
Search as you type - Results update shortly after users type. Older responses are ignored when a newer query takes their place.

Helpful previews - Each result uses a layout suited to its content, with useful details such as authors, spaces, dates, statuses, or excerpts.

Posts and articles - Results show titles, authors, space context, short excerpts, and a preview image when available.
•
Goals and events - Goal cards show their current workflow status. Event cards include timing, attendance, and status details.
•
Documents and images - Document results open with the matched file context. Image results can appear together in an easy-to-scan media grid.

Conversation matches - Message results open the relevant shared or direct conversation with the matching message in context.
•
Spaces and people - Space results lead into the selected community, while people results open the matching profile.
A Search That Stays With You

Preserved progress - Search remembers the query, filters, scope, and loaded pages while users visit a result and return. Opened results are also marked for easier scanning.

More as you scroll - Additional results load progressively, with a clear option to show more when another page is available.
•
Clear feedback - Search shows focused loading, empty, and error states so users always know what is happening.
•
Fresh results - Updates to posts, goals, events, documents, profiles, and conversations are reflected in Search.
Privacy And Access

Space permissions - Private space content only appears when the user belongs to the space and can read the relevant area.
•
Private conversations - Direct-message results only appear to current conversation participants.
•
Privacy-safe totals - Result counts do not reveal hidden private content or inaccessible conversations.
Goal Discovery
•
Goal references - Message composers can find published goals by name or reference and link only goals available in a joined space.
•
Goal board search - Users can narrow the current Goals board from its header, then clear the query to restore the full board.
Current Discovery Scope
•
Practical discovery today - Search covers current community and content discovery, including older links that previously opened Spaces Explorer.
•
Navigator comes later - A visual knowledge map, semantic search, taxonomy graph, and guided learning paths are not part of this release.
