Save And Reopen Your Work
Use save feedback to finish an editing session confidently, then reopen the scene and check the result. This is especially useful after importing a model, changing geometry, or painting a texture.
Rig And Pose A Mesh
Build a small native skeleton for a supported mesh, bind it, and test a pose. Start with a simple elongated form so that a joint's effect is easy to see.
Animate An Object
Create a short movement for one object, review its timing, and keep it as a named action. This is a good first animation because it does not require a skeleton.
Text And Shapes
Text and shapes add labels, diagrams, and clean graphic elements to painted artwork. Keeping these elements editable makes it easier to change wording, adjust alignment, or reuse a composition at another size.
Saving And Working Together
Pixels supports both shared space documents and local imported projects. Knowing which one is open tells you where your work is saved and whether another person can join it.
Layers And Masks
Layers keep the pieces of a Pixels composition independent. Use them to move a character without moving the background, try a different title, or adjust lighting without repainting the source.
Pixels Guide
Pixels combines layered artwork, image adjustments, and frame animation. Start with the workspace, then choose the guide for the picture or sprite you want to make.
Import And Export
Choose an export according to what the next person needs: an editable Pixels project, a finished image, or a file for another editor. The extension alone does not guarantee that every layer feature remains editable.
Frame Animation
Frame animation turns a sequence of drawings into motion. Each Pixels frame contains independent artwork, so you can change a pose without changing the frames before and after it.
