Interactions And Alternatives
Interactions let you describe how a place is meant to behave and compare different designs within it. They are useful for game ideas, spatial stories and presentations, provided everyone understands that **Stage records intent rather than running a simulation**.
Stage Guide
Stage helps you develop a spatial idea into a scene that people can explore and compare. Start with the workspace, then choose a guide for the part of the project you are shaping.
Cameras And Views
Stage separates exploring a scene from saving a deliberate viewpoint. Your regular **User camera** is for working; named camera objects preserve compositions you want to return to or render.
Shape And Plant A Landscape
Make a small landscape with a raised area, a planting patch and a pool in the low ground. Start with a scene you authored and decide the rough footprint before creating terrain.
Save A Camera And Render
Save a deliberate camera view, combine it with a mood brief, and generate an image you can revisit in Docs. You can complete the camera preparation without generating an image; the render step uses the space's AI credits. You must be the scene author to render, with space-owner authority or **Use AI credits** permission in its area. A configured Agent and a readable, nonempty credit balance are also required.
Cut A Cave Into Terrain
Cut an opening or hollow into a solid terrain platform. The cave shape represents the volume to remove, so part of it must intersect the platform to produce an opening. You need an editable terrain with **Include bottom and sides** enabled. Open terrain has no solid body for this operation. An imported cutting shape must be a closed static mesh with no more than 30,000 triangles.
Create A Scene
Build a small scene that answers one design question, such as where people enter a courtyard or how seating fits around a meeting area. By the end, you will have named objects, a useful view and a saved document you can reopen. You need to be signed in and have access to the space area where you are creating the scene. The new scene's author can edit it; other eligible members can view it.
Compare Alternative Layouts
Keep up to three arrangements in one scene and switch between them during review. This guide uses Variants so that each choice remains editable instead of becoming a disconnected screenshot. You need to be the scene author. Variant choices change saved visibility, so decide how you want the scene to look when other viewers open it.
Build A Room
Create a simple room outline, add a door and window, and inspect the resulting space. This guide uses one editable wall run so that corners, openings, floor and roof remain connected. Open a scene you authored. Use a clear view of the ground or supporting surface before drawing.
Add References And Notes
Add a visual reference and a short explanation to a scene without losing sight of the design itself. This works well for a material sample, a person used for scale, or a question tied to a particular object.
